PostEx Courier Integration — Automated Shipping & COD Management

The PostEx Courier Integration is a complete automation layer built on top of the PostEx REST API, designed to eliminate manual order booking and COD tracking for Pakistani e-commerce businesses. Built with Next.js, Node.js, and a JSON/Supabase backend, the system connects any online store to PostEx without manual data entry.

Order Management: When a customer places an order on the connected store (Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom), the integration automatically creates a PostEx shipment, generates a tracking number, and sends a confirmation SMS to the customer — all in under 10 seconds. Bulk booking supports uploading 100+ orders via CSV with automatic deduplication and error reporting.

Real-Time Tracking: A branded tracking page embeds on the merchant's website, allowing customers to enter their tracking number and see live shipment status updates pulled directly from PostEx. Webhook listeners capture status changes (booked, picked, in-transit, delivered, returned) and update the merchant dashboard in real time.

COD Reconciliation: The most painful part of COD e-commerce is reconciling payments. The system pulls PostEx remittance reports daily, matches payments to orders, flags discrepancies, and generates a reconciliation summary — cutting manual reconciliation from hours to minutes. Automatic ledger updates keep the merchant's balance current.

Dashboard: A clean analytics dashboard shows total shipments, delivery rate, average delivery time, COD recovery rate, top delivery zones, and returned orders breakdown — all filterable by date range. Merchants can reprint waybills, file complaints, and manage return requests directly from the dashboard.
