Does SmartPOS require an internet connection?
No. SmartPOS is completely offline. All data is stored in a local JSON file on your computer. There is no cloud, no subscription, and no internet requirement.
Can I install it on multiple computers?
The $200 license allows installation on up to 2 PCs. For more installations (e.g., a chain of shops), contact us for a multi-seat license.
What payment methods does SmartPOS support recording?
SmartPOS records payments via Cash, Credit, Partial payment, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, and Card. It does not process digital payments — it records them for your books.
How do I back up my data?
All data is stored in a single JSON file on your computer. Simply copy that file to a USB drive or cloud folder. Restoring is as easy as copying it back.
